I make a living as a farmer and as the co-owner of Atlantic Seaweed Farm in Rye, NH. Outside of ceramics, I am an active preserver, swimmer, climber, traveler and wannabe-builder.

Inspired by the dark wrinkles and calluses of New England; Among my traditional tableware you will find motifs of whales, ferns, insects, and the human form. Alternatively, cyclop planters, talking vegetables and gluttonous mermaids somehow conjure my studio space.

Primarily wheel thrown with alternative slab built sculpture. Fired to cone 6 in a oxidation kiln at Bayside Clay in Portland, Maine. Some pieces are high fired in Betsy Levine’s soda gas kiln or wood fired over 3 days.
